General Booking Questions

How do I make a booking?

You can book online through our website, or contact us by phone or email. All bookings, no matter how they are made, are bound by our terms and conditions. By placing a booking, you confirm you have read and understood these terms.

Do you cover my area?

We deliver across a wide part of Herefordshire and Mid Wales, including Hereford, Leominster, Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye, Monmouth, Abergavenny, Hay-on-Wye, Knighton, Brecon, Bromyard and many surrounding villages. If you're unsure whether we deliver to you, just ask.

Can I see your insurance and safety certificates?

Yes. All safety documentation is available upon request before booking. Once a booking is placed, we assume you have reviewed and accepted all relevant documents.

What happens if I am not happy when the equipment arrives?

If something is not right, do not sign the hire agreement. Contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue. Once the agreement is signed, the equipment is considered accepted and no refunds or price changes can be made unless a specific component fails.

Delivery, Setup and Collection

When will my equipment arrive?

We aim to meet your selected time slot, but we reserve a two-hour window either side for delivery and collection. For example, a 10am booking may be delivered between 8am and 12pm.

Can you be late due to traffic or road issues?

Occasionally unavoidable delays happen. If your start time is affected, any refund is calculated on a pro rata basis for the item in question.

Do I need to prepare the site before you arrive?

Yes. The area must be cleared of toys, furniture, washing lines, low branches, animal mess and other obstructions. If the site isn't ready or unsuitable, we may not be able to set up. Charges will still apply.

Can I move the inflatable after setup?

No. Once installed, it must remain in place. Pegs, sandbags and anchors must not be touched or removed.

Equipment and Safety

Are your inflatables clean and tested?

All equipment is cleaned and sanitised after every hire. Every inflatable is tested annually to recognised safety standards. Our team also inspects each item during delivery.

Do users need special clothing?

Yes. Long sleeves, long trousers and socks are recommended, especially in hot weather when PVC can warm up. Exposed skin can become uncomfortable on hot surfaces.

Can adults use your inflatables?

We do offer adult-grade items such as the adult bouncy castle. Standard children's castles are not suitable for adult use.

Do you offer soft play and toddler options?

Yes, we have a range of soft play sets and ball pools suitable for younger children. Popular items include the multi-colour soft play and the toddler ball pool.

Do you substitute equipment?

In rare cases, we may substitute an item for a similar one if maintenance or availability requires it. All items supplied will be of comparable value and suitability.

Supervision and Operation

Do I need to supervise the inflatable?

Yes. A responsible adult must supervise at all times. For larger units like assault courses or competitive games, we may recommend two supervisors. Staff hire is available for an additional fee.

Are blowers and cables safe?

Yes, but they must be protected. Customers are responsible for ensuring blowers and cables are fenced off or kept out of reach. This is especially important at busy public events.

Can I use water to cool the inflatable in hot weather?

No. Water makes surfaces extremely slippery, increasing the risk of accidents.

Weather, Cancellations and Refunds

Can I cancel due to bad weather?

Yes, on-the-day bad weather cancellations are permitted. You can postpone for up to six months. Booking fees are non-refundable, but hire payments are carried forward.

Do you cancel in windy conditions?

Yes. We follow strict safety standards and will cancel if wind speeds reach or exceed 24mph. If we cancel for this reason, you receive a refund (minus booking fees).

What if I cancel at short notice?

Cancellations within two weeks of the hire date require 50% of the balance. Cancellations within seven days require full payment.

Damage, Liability and Insurance

What if the equipment is damaged during my hire?

You must inform us immediately and stop using the inflatable. If the item was signed as delivered in good condition, full repair or replacement costs will apply.

Does your insurance cover injuries?

No. Our policy covers the equipment only. Customers are responsible for obtaining suitable cover for guests if required.

What if the inflatable is stolen?

The customer is responsible for the equipment while on hire. Theft or loss is chargeable and may be passed to a collection agency if unpaid.

Are my belongings covered?

No. We accept no liability for damage to personal property or items kept near the equipment.

Mechanical or Technical Issues

What happens if something breaks during hire?

If a component fails, a refund is issued only for the affected part of the hire. For example, if a disco dome sound system fails, only the sound system portion is refunded.

How quickly do you respond to problems?

An engineer will be dispatched within three hours plus travel time to address mechanical issues.

Behaviour, Conduct and Fair Use

What is your policy on abusive behaviour?

We operate a zero-tolerance policy. Abuse, threats or attempts to withhold equipment will result in the police being called and the hire terminated immediately.

Can I post negative comments online?

We encourage customers to speak to us first so we can resolve any issues. Malicious or misleading online posts may result in legal action or a defamation fee of up to £1,000.

Suitability of Site and Access

What happens if my garden or venue is too small?

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the site is large enough. If the site is unsuitable on arrival, the hire cannot go ahead and full payment is still required.

Do you accept hard standing outdoor hires?

No, except when the hire is indoors. Grass or soft ground is required for safe pegging.

Do you check for underground hazards?

Pegs are driven approximately 400mm into the ground. All underground pipes and cables must be buried deeper than this. Customers must ensure the site is safe.

Can you remove branches or cut back trees?

No. Low branches must be trimmed by the customer before we arrive. If unsafe, the hire may be refused and full charges will apply.

Extra Services and Packages

Do you provide packages for parties?

Yes, we offer a wide range of packages including soft play, castles, ball pools and extras. Popular choices include the Princess Package 3 and the Superhero Package 4.

Do you offer lighting or evening options?

Yes. We provide lighting options such as the LED flood lights for evening events.

Can you supply staff for bigger events?

Yes, trained staff can be hired to supervise certain inflatables or assist with larger functions.
